The reasoning is simple though...with 6 days of "business dress" and limited space in the luggage, I had to make hard choices. Bring trainers for the wall hike (large and difficult to fit), or just wear comfortable flats. As for the skirt, it was over 100 degress, and pants just wouldn't work in that type of weather. And from the photos you can see that we also had a nice dinner at the wall--hence, the skirt. Though, I hate to admit it, I STILL would have worn a skirt otherwise. I guess it's innate.
