I think your bullet points on traveling with a baby also apply to having a baby in general, even when you're not traveling. We've done all of these ourselves with our two girls. Starting directly on table food and skipping the infant mush has been one that created some extra messes at first, but very quickly led to the kids being able to feed themselves. So a big time and money saver in the long run. We also have a lot of food sensitivities to deal with and unfortunately we haven't been as diligent as you in overhauling the whole family's diet. Keep the updates coming as time allows! I love this entry, and it’s so great to get an update on your travels. Don't let it overwhelm you (it's not worth that!) but I will promise you that at 8 or 10 weeks you'll think it's much, much easier than it is now.
